The ‘Ships Stern Circuit’, a classic Lamington day walk, is our
aim for this Sunday’s outing. We will include the Lower and the Upper Ballanjui Falls on this round trip, making the total track about 24 km long. The walk leads us through rain forests, open eucalypt forests and past some excellent lookouts with views over the Numinbah valley.
Mostly well-groomed tracks will make this long trip quite achievable.

Walking times: Approx. 7 hours and 24 km

Grading: XL-3-2

Meeting Point: Sunday, 18 July 2010 at 8:30am at the Car park

at the Main Binna Burra entrance to the National-Park.

(Near the camping ground & kiosk).

Allow approx. 2 hours from Brisbane CBD.

Suggestion: It may be a good idea to arrange car-pooling,

contact the leaders or any committee member.

Take plenty of drinking water and good, comfortable walking shoes.
