was in the air.
Visitors from the Sunshine Coast and many of the 29 partici-
pants showed their newest Swiss-T-Shirt or home made music-
instruments - a raffle was on. 3 cows got new bells from Switzerland
and with the flags and red/white table-clothes as well as the CD-

stars and listened to the speech for the Swiss Abroad-next time louder!

Rain or storm??? - Yes rain at 9 am - luckily no more for the rest of the
day (only because we had gazebos and tarps installed) - let's go for it
was also the right decision. Several new Swiss moved into this area had
interesting talks and we all enjoyed the BBQ lunch/afternoon together.
Swiss visitors from Mooloolaba joined us with their local Dutch/Aussie
host and with four speaking French it was a very multicultural bunch of
29 people also singing "Happy Birthday" to Maya (some had been
practising the night before at another 60th Swiss-Birthday-Party with
delicious food and 4 cakes!).
John our "BBQ-chief" won the CD-raffle and the 4 children had a
wonderful time at the playground and at the beach creating an
aquarium with snails, crabs, shells and corals. Another pleasant day,
sharing experiences and knowledge and funny stories. |
