This is the S ociety Games Semi Final between Auckland & Hamilton – this year to be held in Hamilton.

The winner of today will be in the final against the winner between Taranaki & Wellington. The Final of the S ociety Games will be held on Kings Birthday Weekend on Sunday\, 2nd June a t our farm.

The winning team of the Society Games will be taking h ome the famous Cow Bell. Put this date in your diary now – we will need as many contestants as possible to participate in the Society Games! The co mpetition involves kegeln (bowling)\, steinstossen (stone throw)\, jass (c ards) and shooting (done prior to the day).

This year’s agenda is a busy one as the re are a number of positions on our two committees (main and farm) that ar e vacant\, and we have a number of items on the General Business ledger to get sorted for 2024-2025.

On Saturday ( 1 June) evening we will welcome club members from all over the country to the farm for dinner (rsvp required).

The annual Society games fina l takes place at the farm on Sunday 2 June in the morning.

The Ann ual General Meeting of the Swiss Society of New Zealand will be hosted by the Auckland Swiss Club on the 3pm\, 2 June 2024 at Hobsonville RSA.

Members from the Auckland\, Hamilton\, Wellington and Taranaki Swiss Cl ubs together with Society Only members from throughout New Zealand are cor dially invited to attend and participate in the discussions.

After the AGM there will be a buffet dinner at the RSA (RSVP REQUIRED $35/PERSON)

The Auckland Swiss Club Shooting Season comes to an end\, and I am inviting you to one last day\, being Saturday 15. or Sunday 16. June 20 23. I will decide the weekend before which day we will shoot.

If y ou know anybody else\, who might be keen to participate\, let me know\, so we could potentially invite them. Just ask me first\, as I want to make s ure there are not too many. All non Swiss Club members\, must bring their own rifle and amo.

We will shoot our last competition of the year\ , the Nachdoppel. This consists of 5 practice and 10 counting shots (score d from 1 to 10).
