Following a successful trial of social card evenings, we will continue to hold these (other than through the winter months of the regular card competitions) on the first Friday of the six months listed below.
Therefore, they will be held on the first Friday of the following months:
- 6th March
- 3rd April
- 7th August
- 4th September
- 2nd October
- 6th November
The cost will remain at $5 per person.
Please bring a small plate for supper, and the club will provide tea and coffee. A few spot prizes will also be drawn at each evening.
The plan is to walk the Horopito Track; along with other shorter walks, depending on fitness levels (and the weather!). Accommodation will be at the Tokoroa Alpine Club Hut.
For anyone interested – costs: further information; and details to book – please contact Herbert or Willetta Staheli (021 962 708 or team@swisscraft.co.nz).
Further information will also be in the February Helvetia.
