Sunday, 20th September – Matangi Hall. Bookings required. Full details will come in the September Newsletter.
Following a successful trial of social card evenings, we will continue to hold these (other than through the winter months of the regular card competitions) on the first Friday of the months listed below.
Therefore, they will be held on the first Friday of the following months:
- 6th March
- 7th August
- 4th September
- 2nd October
- 6th November
More experienced players can play cards together however they wish throughout the evening. Beginners and learners can play at separate tables to gain some experience and confidence, accompanied with some help and advice from a few of our regular players in a relaxed and non-competitive environment. A selection of board games and other games will be available for non-card players or children.
The cost will remain at $5 per person.
Please bring a small plate for supper, and the club will provide tea and coffee. A few spot prizes will also be drawn at each evening.
Currently planned to be at Lake Ngaroto, where we will meet for lunch first, followed by the walk approximately 1.00pm.
Confirmation and full details will be in the September Newsletter and October Helvetia.
