Our annual picnic … well what can we say? The committee is so appreciative of the amazing crowds that descend upon Kaponga to come to this great event. There are plenty of free activities for the children: face painting, pony rides, bottle fishing, schwingen (swiss wrestling), grass skis, our swing and slides … you’re so lucky to have so much to do. We have barbeques cervelas and bratwurst, ice creams, ice blocks and beverages (please remember as this is a licenced function, you are legally not allowed to bring your own alcohol onto the premises). We also hold a swiss-style raffle (tombola) and there are also shot put events. The huge attraction is the schwingen … so come along and if you don’t participate, then watch the interesting bouts. Come and have a fun day, catch up with friends and make new acquaintances!!! Don’t miss this terrific day!!!
