The second Senior’s Social Day of 2026 is TODAY!! Please come along and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow Kiwi-Swiss, a friendly chat, a laugh and some delicious food! For catering purposes, please book with any of our committee ladies. A day function not to miss … don’t feel you’re a senior yet, don’t worry, you’re still welcome to join us!! We also appreciate support people coming along; look forward to seeing as many of you as possible!!

Today the Ted Napflin Memorial Shield will be contested, as well as the Championship Shoot. Do come along and give shooting a go … Joe and his team will certainly help you with coaching tips. The smallbore shooting club looks forward to seeing you there!!

The Christmas Shoot / Kegeln is another great day on our club calendar. Christmas activities will be organised for the children. Parents / grandparents please bring a wrapped and named present for your children / grandchildren. Adults who compete in the shooting or kegeln need to bring a wrapped present worth at least $15.00. A potluck lunch will be held so bring some yummy food to share, and your own drinks. Father Christmas will make an appearance, so children be on your best behaviour!! This will be followed by the presentation of the Trudi Ott Belt and the Ted Napflin Memorial Shield and prizegiving! This is a great family fun day!!! Do come along!!

This is the biggest day of our club calendar!! The annual picnic!! Come along and sit under the trees or the many gazebos and enjoy the schwingen (the highlight of the picnic where young and not-so-young compete!!), shot put, a barbequed cervelas or bratwurst, a selection of beverages and ice creams, live Swiss music, the alphorn group, face painting, pony rides, bottle fishing, our small playground … oh, there is just so much to do!! And of course, the best is catching up with friends and making new acquaintances!!! We had a huge crowd last year, and look forward to just as many, if not more, this year. We were privileged to have members from the other North Island clubs join us, and we really appreciated your efforts. Come along and enjoy this wonderful atmosphere!!

The Annual General Meeting of our club will be held tonight. Come along and hear what happened in the past year, and what is planned for the coming year. Last year we were thrilled to have five new committee members join our team and we thank them very much for their valuable contribution. We now have the maximum number of committee members allowed in our constitution … something we’re very proud of!! We hope that our members have enjoyed the activities offered during the past year and are always on the lookout for new ideas for our members to enjoy. Come along and have your say …
