This event is open to anyone, so please feel free to bring friends and relatives along. ?Children and grand-children of members are free; non-members are $5 per child. Please bring a plate to share for afternoon tea.
Please RSVP by 1 December by emailing wellingtonswissclub@gmail.com or phone Nathalie. Samichlaus and Schmutzli will need to know the following: your child’s name and age, something good they have achieved in 2015 and something they need to improve in 2016. For example: Jane has made great progress is swimming and can now swim a whole length of the pool without stopping but she needs to remember to be more gentle to her little brother and not shout at him so much.
The children are encouraged to prepare an item (song, dance, karate demonstration, etc.) or bring a picture/craft for Samichlaus and Schmutzli.
Please note that Samichlaus and Schmutzli will arrive at 2pm sharp so be on time (they always are!).

The Jäggis are once again inviting us to their traditional Family day at their beautiful property in the Akatarawa Valley.

BYO food and a dessert to share.

Please let Nat know if you are coming, for organisation purposes.

Movie Day and Movie Night @ Club house in Wainuiomata
Jun 26 @ 3:30 pm – 8:30 pm
We will open the doors at 3:30, with some nibbles, and Oliver will start the movie at 4:00
After the movie a soup will be served.
Around 6:30 we will watch a more serious movie..
Bring your children to the afternoon movie and your friends to the evening movie.
The event is free, but a koha to help with the costs will be appreciated.
If you can please bring a plate to share with the soup or the afternoon tea.
Also, please let me know, by emailing wellingtonswissclub@gmail.com, if you intend to come (and how many of you) so that we can prepare enough soup and so that I’d know who to contact in case there would be any change to the plan.
Note that we have a library of DVDs, some in English, some in German, mostly kids’ themes, for you to borrow at the club house. You are welcome to take some of them home.

turnip carving, or Raabeliechtli, starting at 1pm at the Club House.
All welcome, please bring a turnip (best if you empty it first, leaving 7mm thick walls), a plate to share for afternoon tea, and a stick (garden or bamboo stick). We have tea candles. This event is free of charge, but please bring some coins for a koha.
