This is a relaxed event, bring your own meat and salads, and some dessert to share.
We will play Steinstossen, Kegeln, Jassen.
This event is free of charge but if you want a medal you’ll have too pay $5.00 per category.
Kids should bring their togs as we may head for Wainuiomata pool if the weather is good.
The annual family picnic will be at Marc’s and Rahel’s this year, in Johnsonville.

L’Escalade, or Fête de l’Escalade (from escalade, the act of scaling defensive walls), was a notable attempt by Catholic Savoy to conquer Protestant Geneva, now commemorated by an annual festival each December celebrating the defeat of the surprise attack by troops sent by Charles Emmanuel I, Duke of Savoy during the night of 11–12 December 1602. The celebrations and other commemorative activities are usually held on 12 December or the closest weekend.
Well, given that we are all busy in December, the Wellington club settled on the first weekend of November for this year.
This is a family event.
We meet at the club house at 2:00 and do some activity like knitting, baking, playing cards, or some craft.
