Bring raw eggs, and a plate to share for afternon tea.
If you have brown onion skins, please bring it too.
This year again we are celebrating the Geneva Fete de l’Escalade totally out of season! That way we can have our heartwarming vegetable soup in the Winter.
Old and young, families and individuals, you are all welcome to this event, where we will reenact the failed invasion of Geneva by the Duc de Savoie, back in 1602, race around the block, and make our own vegetable soup.
Dress up if you like (no need to be historically correct, there were lots of princesses and fairies last year!) it is even more fun!
Let’s meet at 3pm at the club house, 21 Moores Valley Rd, Wainuiomata, dress up as you like, and we’ll have fun reenacting the Escalade, eating vegetable soup and racing!
Price is $10 per person or $20 per family for club members, and $15 per person and $25 per family for non -members. That includes soup, bread, tea or coffee and dessert.
