The Annual Fondue Night was a delicious success! About 60 members gathered around caquelons to enjoy a delicious fondue prepared by our new chef group; a big thank you to Lukas and Ernst. After the fondue was a Switzerland & New Zealand trivia challenge. Some of us learned new facts about Switzerland and New Zealand. Do you know who the original “Swiss Miss” was? The trivia challenge was concluded with an exciting paper airplane competition; kids and adults had great fun in creating the planes! Thank you to Martin for being the quiz master. Congratulations to team Thurgau for winning the trivia challenge; they were rewarded with some fabulous Swiss chocolates. Dessert consisted of a delicious fruit salad, crème fraîche and chocolate mousse. Overall the night was a wonderful success full of great food and wonderful Swiss friends.
