The very cultural Swiss National Day celebrations will be held on the 1st of August with the official part of the evening commencing at 7.30pm. There will be plenty of Swiss folklore and traditions on display; from singing to raffles, music to fine food!! This is always a great time to catch up with friends and make new acquaintances. The Swiss Society Sports competition certificates and prizes, kegeln and jass trophies, and the literary cup will all be awarded. Enjoy the entertainment and a great chat!!
The first kegeln night of the new season will be tonight. Come along and join this fun-loving, social group who enjoy the 9-pin bowling, a chat, laughs and a good supper!! Please bring a plate for the share supper.

The smallbore shooting events commence for the new season, with the Trudi Ott Belt being contested today. The Championship Shoot can also be done … so plenty of shooting for everyone!! Most shoots are handicap ones, so everyone has the chance to get their hands on the coveted trophies!! Come along and give shooting a go … Joe and his team are more than happy to give coaching. The second Senior’s Social Day of 2026 is TODAY!! Please come along and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow Kiwi-Swiss, a friendly chat, a laugh and some delicious food! For catering purposes, please book with any of our committee ladies. A day function not to miss … don’t feel you’re a senior yet, don’t worry, you’re still welcome to join us!! We also appreciate support people coming along; look forward to seeing as many of you as possible!!

The Christmas Shoot / Kegeln is another great day on our club calendar. Christmas activities will be organised for the children. Parents / grandparents please bring a wrapped and named present for your children / grandchildren. Adults who compete in the shooting or kegeln need to bring a wrapped present worth at least $15.00. A potluck lunch will be held so bring some yummy food to share, and your own drinks. Father Christmas will make an appearance, so children be on your best behaviour!! This will be followed by the presentation of the Trudi Ott Belt and the Ted Napflin Memorial Shield and prizegiving! This is a great family fun day!!! Do come along!!
